Our fast-growing startup operates a drone pilot network of thousands of independent, licensed drone operators across 50 states and more than 35 countries & territories. The company was launched in 2016 and seeks an energetic and enthusiastic Video Editor to assist with current and future projects.

Summary

Dronegenuity is looking to add a part-time video editor to its growing team. Work can be done remotely and locally. Must have experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of tools and/or Final Cut Pro X software. We are looking for creative storytellers capable of transforming raw drone footage into engaging videos primarily for marketing or promotional use. Must be able to color correct and enhance video footage, understand client needs, and work with deadlines. Experience with drone video preferred.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Edit together raw drone video clips in a captivating and engaging way
Add text overlays and graphics
Color correct and enhance video footage
Integrate music with the video project
Understand the geography of a location and cut clips together in such a way to communicate this geography to viewers
Export video footage at highest quality settings
Work with deadlines
Share completed projects via Google Drive

You are a great fit if you have:

Experienced in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro X
Excellent understanding of composition, layout, and color
Efficient time management skills
Ability to independently solve problems, find answers to questions & make decisions
Natural pride in meeting & exceeding quality standards, and impressing customers
